| :: HISTORY :: |
Wordshop was founded in November 1994 by Peter O'Connor and Philippe De Clercq, with the aim of combining linguistic expertise and business acumen.
The company's structure (Société Anonyme) includes shareholders from a range of industrial sectors, keen to make their contribution to the Wordshop success story. These shareholders include professionals from fields such as translation, technical documentation, printing, communications, commerce, services and industry.
Initially established in a graphic arts studio in Montreuil-sous Bois, near Paris, Wordshop's success subsequently led to a move to larger office space in nearby Rosny-sous-Bois, where we are able to accommodate our growing workforce, together with specific teams of freelance translators brought together for major translation projects.
Throughout its development, Wordshop has continued to work hand in hand with its shareholders from the translation world, as well as with other translation companies in different European countries, particularly in Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and Germany.
Through these partnerships and thanks to its extensive human resources both in house and externally, Wordshop currently handles translation services in 26 European and Oriental languages. |
